Three brothers, Mark, Stephen and Paul represent the modern face of Miller Steel, a family firm which traces its reputation for high quality steel engineering and fabrication to their paternal grandfather, who co-founded the original business back in 1961. Together, this third generation of the Miller family are driving the business forward, building on the company's specialist skills in all types of steel manufacturing. Of course in order to know where you are going, you have to appreciate where you have come from.
So it is with all at Miller Steel, as the business draws on these years of hard earned experience. It was David Miller and his brother William who opened the original D & W Miller & Co. in the second year of the nineteen sixties. They quickly expanded their manufacturing portfolio, securing contracts to supply barrel hoop iron to the whisky industry and subsequently formed the 'Western Steel Company' to specialise in this market.
