About the Business
With a generous grant of £1000 from the OA Sport Fund, Paul set up the first junior St Albans fencing club hiring a hall for 6 weeks, teaching 10 fencers from the local area. Fencers from Team PDFA have represented Great Britain and have become the most successful Fencing Team in Hertfordshire. Team PDFA have recieved recognition for their success winning the Community Club of the Year award and Paul Davis winning Coach of Year at the St Albans and Harpenden Sports Award.
All coaches for Paul Davis Fencing Academy are registered coaches with British Fencing and/or the British Academy of Fencing, have attended First Aid courses, with up to date certificates, have been fully DBS checked, attended Child Protection courses and hold full driving licenses.
